Westerdawg Passes One Million Pageviews. Steve Spurrier Grows Increasingly Uncomfortable...

Esteemed blogger and great American Paul Westerdawg announced today that his wildly popular Georgia Sports Blog logged its 500,000th visitor and 1 millionth (if that's even a word) pageview.

I for one think that's incredibly cool (because I'm a huge fan of Paul's blog), and because it indicates that there are a lot of you out there visiting fine purveyors of sports bloggery (again, probably not a word, but it won't stop me).

PWD celebrating one million pageviews. I don't know why Spurrier's making that face. I think it involves hemorrhoids. Or an inexplicable rash. Hey, wait a minute, that's not Paul . . .

On a far less impressive note, this blog has just completed its first month in operation. We managed to log about 600 visitors and sqeaked in just over 1000 pageviews in the first month. Granted, we got a long way to go to catch Paul. But I did want to take a moment to thank all of you who have visited the site, as well as those of you who have linked to the site. I hope you have as much fun reading this stuff as I do writing it.

OK, this is Paul celebrating his 1 millionth pageview. What can I say, the man knows how to get it crunk. Congrats PWD!
